Bond It FS4 Fireshield AC is a high performance, solvent free, ready to use, flexible acrylic building sealant and adhesive which, in the event of fire, will swell to provide a smoke resistant barrier. Up to 4 hour fire rating achievable. The sealant maintained the integrity of a plasterboard partition wall with a Sound Reduction Index of 55dB. Fireshield AC is specially manufactured to form an acoustic and fire rated intumescent barrier in construction applications.

Uses for Bond It FS4 Fireshield AC

– For use in joints where a fire resistance is required.

– For use in joints where an acoustic resistance is required.

– Specially manufactured to form an acoustic and fire rated intumescent barrier in construction applications.

– When subjected to heat, swells (intumesces) to provide an inert barrier to smoke and flame.

– The fire resistance depends upon the joint design, depth of sealant and substrates being sealed.
